I must be doing something wrong, it doesnt work. I copied my entire The Bat! directory from Documents and Settings to the Users\User\AppData\Romaing\The Bat! directory, i get my account names, but without any folders, settings, mails... What now? Maybe this is still a result of the failed backup restore operation, even though I reinstalled The Bat on Vista. Any help?
Copy the contents of your XP mail directory into your Vista mail directory, without any version of TB running.
That should do the trick.
Hi,

What is the best way to transfer all my mails, attachments, settings and everything else from XP to Vista. I tried creating a backup but when I restore it in Vista i get a lot of errors (mostly because there obviously isnt a "Documents and Settings" folder in Vista).

I need this very much, because I have a lot of mails, attachments and configured filters which are very important...

One more thing, XP and Vista are installed on the same hard drive, on different partitions, if it means anything.

I've just installed TheBat on XP but decided to move to Vista a few days ago, and it would be a real shame if I lose all my hard work configuring it to my needs...
