Hi,
  Thanks for the information.I went into my profile and their is nothing at the bottom of the page for changing anything.I clicked on the link 'Subscribtion [Modify]'and their's nothing there.Also the emails are Automatically generated messages and can't be replied too.

Go to your profile.
At the bottom of your profile page there's a link to your subscriptions, follow that link and unsubscribe.

you probably subscribed to something to get them. Check the subscription confirmation email, if any - there should be instructions how to unsubscribe.

I can't find any setting in my profile to stop this happening.
