close theBat, then rename the file
< mail folder >\tbuser.DEF
or move it outside mail folder. This file seems to keep toolbar configs, when I rename it my customized toolbars disappear and I guess the defaults are displayed.
Thanks, I did try that, although nothing happened.

the problem is TB was corrupted when the folders were lost. When I freshly installed Bat, it still picked up the corrupted proprties (toolbars all screwed up and wouldn't backup).

I did more to remove BAT and reinstalled, and that worked. No corruption BUt when I uploaded my messages through restore, it became corrupt again.

Bat will backup now, but has the toolbars screwed up. Is there any way to reinstall and get my messages back into a fresh copy without corrupting that install tool?

I'm hoping the initial mess was caused by be switching anti-virus programs.

Thanks much
Rick
View -> Toolbars -> Customize -> At the 'Menu & Toolbars' tab you'll find a button 'Restore to default'
That should do the trick.
My toolbars are corrupt. They had about 150 icons placed on them - and I've gotten rid of over 100 but they still have junk there.

Any ideas how I would reset the toolbar?

Thanksmuch
Rick
