note that virtual folders do not really contain any messages but just references to messages which reside in other folders. Something like desktop shortcuts (but unlike them, deleting a message from a virtual folder really deletes the message from the actual folder).
So if you want it to work as Thunderbird, you may want to create a new common (but not virtual) folder, and then use filters to move all incoming mail to the common inbox, all outgoing to the common outbox etc.
Not sure if it's better to have just common or common virtual folders.
Virtual don't have their one message base, data is stored in message bases of actual folders.

Yes, in the menu click Folders -> new -> new shared virtual folder.
In the following window you can either have the folder use special filters and/or to show contents of specific "real" folders (in the new window the "folder" button on the bottom).
Hi,
is it possible to configure The Bat! to have global folders for all my accounts? (one for all received mails, one for all sent mails ..., just like Thunderbird, Outlook or others)
Thanks in advance
