No.. unfortunately it only seems to happen in "phases".  I can spend a day working and it happens every time, then I go for a day or two an it seems to be ok.  I have just installed 4.0.24 and will see if this fixes the problem.

did You tried 4.0.24?

can be this reproduced when saving attachment from every message?

Has anyone thought of a solution for this..  I am using The Bat 4.0.18

It is driving me nuts that I cannot forward emails without loosing the attachement or getting this odd file 1.eml as attachment.

Hi Fellow Bat Users,

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?  When I right click on an attachment and select "save" it allows me to save the attachment anywhere on my system, but is saves it without the file extension.  This means that I when I later click on the attachment it will not open a suitable application...  I then need to go back and recreate the extension to say .doc or .pdf for each file by hand.

Very slow any laborious.  I also need to remember what the extension should be.
