I have this also since v4. I'm using 4.0.14 at the moment.

I have about 15 accounts, and after some time 2-3 accounts give this message in the logfile. Other accounts are working fine.

Only way to get them alive is to close The Bat and ignore the message that there are accounts active (the hanging accounts) and restart.

The problem is on different accounts, not always the same. Also they are connecting to different mailservers.

I'm using one plugin: AVG Anti Virus. I'm using TLS for secure connection.

Part of one logfile:

20-02-2008, 10:18:37: FETCH - receiving mail messages
20-02-2008, 10:18:37: FETCH - Initiating TLS handshake
>20-02-2008, 10:18:37: FETCH - Certificate S/N: F0E4314E, algorithm: RSA (2048 bits), issued from 15-02-2008 21:06:11 to 12-02-2018 21:06:11, for 1 host(s): mail.censored.
>20-02-2008, 10:18:37: FETCH - Owner: NL, Overijssel, censored, censored, mail.censored.
>20-02-2008, 10:18:37: FETCH - This certificate is self-issued.
!20-02-2008, 10:18:37: FETCH - Access violation at address 006BE5CF in module 'thebat.exe'.
