I solved it with the help of Roelof Otten, thanks to him!
The solution:

1. Quit The Bat.
2. Rename ACCOUNT.FLB to ACCOUNT.FLB.old
3. Start The Bat
4. Quit The Bat and restart it another time.
(Not sure if you need it, makes no sense, but I had to do it. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+L didn't do anything the first time.)
5. Do Ctrl+Alt+Shift+L in The Bat to recover missing folders. Apparently it does more than that.
6. Set view mode

This also solved my folders disappearing problem, and my old sorting/office filters reappeared as well.

So I have this problem since I upgraded to the v4 branch.

I made a view mode to display a folder in threads. I set folder view mode, and it works fine. However, after I quit and restart The Bat, it's back to original view mode.
Any ideas?
