They are working on this in now in the beta cycle.
Try going into SPELL CHECKER on the menu turn ON Automatic checking and turn OFF "check before send/queue"

Another thing - go to the account settings and  under transport, make sure that it is set to "immediate". Some installations have reported this getting changed when upgrading.

Same problem here. An e-mail client that won't send mail - ridiculous, or what? Back to 3.99.

I have the same problem in some of my accounts, after upgrading to 4.0.14. Spell check gets stuck, won't recognise the 'ignore all' command and then email won't send. I've learnt to save it as a draft, then go into the drafts folder, remove the drafts tag and send from there - bit long winded and I hope there is a better solution.

Just installed ver 4 from 3.99 and email won't send.  It does spell check and doesn't do anything no error nothing.  When I save the message it disappears to somewhere.  I can recive email

Any help?
