+1 on this error.  It's inconsistent.  And has been in the last 4 or 5 releases for me.

I have the same problem and urgently need a solution!

My Email (theBat!) has become a knowledge database with
lots of customer correspondence. I am starting to loose
folder by folder the more often I use the new vesion. It's a disaster for me! I urgently need a bug fix.

I am running the Bat v4.0.18 on Windows XP SP2
Both (the Bat! and Windows) in German versions.

I just upgraded from 4.0.14 to 4.0.18 and when I tried to check email, got:

!3/11/2008, 07:07:09: FETCH - Access violation at address 7C918FEA in module 'ntdll.dll'. Write of address 00000010

I have XP SP2. I logged a bug report.

This same error message happened to me in 3.99.3 and it ate up all my folders and emails with it and I never got them back.

This looks like a serious error and needs to be fixed.

Last time I kept backing up, but when I restored it seems that backup data was also corrupted, so I lost everything between that and last good backup.

An integrity checker for my backup would have been great.

I have exactly the same error trying to download emails from my accounts.
I have lose some folders in my TheBat database...  but the folder appears to be in main database folder, but The Bat not displays it.

Trying to download mail from an account, but the mistake had appeared on several email accounts, not at same time.
