That error means exactly what it says: TB can't connect to the server.
That means that TB is trying to connect at the wrong address or port or that something (like your firewall) is blocking TB's access to the net.
From a distance it's impossible to say what's the matter with just this data.

Hi,

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

I have recently set up usb wireless connection to a PC for my wife, and have installed "The Bat".

The installation went smoothly without any hitches, but when I try to access our
ISP to download mail I receive the message "Cannot connect to server"

The strange part is that I can access the same server with Outlook Express
from the same PC, also I can connect to the web.

The setup properties for "The Bat" have been created exactly the same
as those which are working perfectly normally for the PC on which I write this message,
so "What's happening? any ideas??

Both PCs are using XP.
