For now, Hunspell dictionaries can be used for Slovak language spellchecking only. We have discussed this with slovak users and if there will be slovak worldlist, we are able to prepare SSCE engine dictionaries, which has more spell checking options available.
Microsoft changed the format of their dictionaries and doesn't allow others to use them. TB only supports Office 97 dictionaries with CSAPI.

However, with the HunSpell engine in v4 you can use the Open Office dictionaries and they've got a Slovak dictionary available:
<noindex>http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Dictionaries#Slovak_.28Slovakia.29</noindex>

In the program directory of TB you create a directory called 'Dictionaries' and extract the archive with the Slovak dictionary there.
Restart TB again and Slovak should be available for TB's editor.
Hi, i was wondering if there is a Slovak spell checker. I read in the HELP files, that The Bat! should detect spell-checking files from MS Office, but for me, it does not work - I have Office XP Slovak version, but the Bat! doesn't recognize the Slovak spell-checking files.

So I was wondering, how to get this thing going properly.

Thx for any input on this,
Lubo
