WOW! I didn't even know half of this. Just when I think I've learned everything that The Bat! Pro can do, I find out about a new feature that I didn't even know about. Ritlabs should have a power user tips section for The Bat! Pro, or at least have it pinned at the top of this section of the forum.

Email Alias

Email Alias How to send from it? in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
There are several ways of using aliases within TB.
Dominik's way is one one of them.
Another one is simply editing the addressin the From header, in order to do that the from header needs to be visible in the editor, but I think that that's the default setting.
My preferred way is using folder identities
(Folder -> Properties -> Identity)
As my use of aliases is more or less function related, I like all mail from and to certain aliases collected in their own folder. For such folders I set a folder identity, an incoming and outgoing filter will take care of the sorting and my mail is threaded by references, so my threads are kept together.
Whenever I want to use an alias, I select the matching folder and it is taken care of automatically. When I reply to a message to an alias, that means I'm in that folder (as my sorting office will place it there) so I'm using the proper alias per default.
Other ways to use certain aliases for certain perons is by using address book templates for those contacts that set the proper alias with the %From= macro.
I have The Bat! Pro 3.99.29, and I also use email aliases with my email account. I want to know if it is possible to send emails with my alias address without having to set up additional accounts?
