make sure your firewall doesn't silently block thebat.exe - disable the firewall and try again. Note that even if it was allowed to connect, most firewalls detect when an allowed executable has changed.

Check the settings and make sure they are correct, something may have lost during the update.

If nothing helps, just google - v.4 is quite new, 3.x versions are probably still available on many download sites.

After hours of trying to get v. 4.0.14 to work ("could not connect to  the server"), I am going to try to roll back to the previous version which worked fine with the same settings. Is there somewhere I can download a previous version? Thank you.
