I did a system restore from a few Days earlier and everything is working OK again.I think I'll leave well alone for the time being.All the files are still saved in my selected directory.

Thanks for your reply.I store them in a directory of my own choice rather than the suggested one.I don't use encryption.

What location are you storing them in?
Are you using encryption or not?

When I try and save a Pad or create a new Pad The Bat locks up and I have to close it down through the Windows Task Manager.I've reinstalled the program and uninstalled and reinstalled I still get the same problem.This happens with the latest version also previous v3 programs.
