Do all of your messages to yourself get back as spam?

With regard to Spam Assassin's remark about TB, SA knows stuff about how different mail clients format their messages and apparently your message made it look like the quoting was done in a way that TB doesn't support.
That makes me curious about the format you were using and about the version of SA that's running on the server. Generally newer versions of SA know better what newer versions of TB can do.

What TB version are you using? (Help -> About)
What version of SA is running on the server? (Can be seen in the headers, look for s X-Spam-Checker-Version: header)
Is it your own server?
there could be several reasons for this.
It's possible your IP or IP of your smtp server to exist in some blacklist. Could be something in the message itself to trigger the spam filter. Try sending a message through another smtp and see if it gets blocked
it seems that spam filter knows you are using theBat, and checks the message source against some patterns it keeps about it (quite silly approach btw)

Click Options / Preferences / General and un-check "Use X-mailer header.....", then try again - now messages will not keep info about what mail app you use.

Another thing you may do is decrease the sensitivity of antispam app to near the minimum.
I sent an email from myself to myself (as a test!) and it got into my mailbox tagged as spam:

Spam detection software, running on the system spam1.pem.inap.sea.XXXXXX.net", has identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or label similar future email. If you have any questions, see the administrator of that system for details.

Content preview: Good day [...]

Content analysis details: (3.6 points, 3.5 required)

pts rule name description
---- ---------------------- --------------------------------------------------
0.1 RDNS_NONE Delivered to trusted network by a host with no rDNS
3.5 REPTO_OVERQUOTE_THEBAT The Bat! doesn't do quoting like this

I am wondering why spam assassin (installed on the server) came back to me with this message regarding The Bat!

itsanogo
