problem updating my backup file

problem updating my backup file problem in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
simply copy the whole mail folder from the old PC and move it to the new one overwriting existing files, and you'll have both PC's totally synced.

I would advise against using theBat built-in backup feature as this may lead to various problems the final result of which is often data loss.
A far simpler, problem free and in any other way better method to make a backup is to just rar or zip the whole mail folder. Subsequently you can make smaller incremental backups by archiving only files modified in the last X days.

I make a full mail folder archive every Monday and then every day an archive of files modified in the last 24h. - until the next Monday, when I make a new full backup and delete old ones.
Hi, created a backup file (4gb) for The Bat for a new pc, I updated the backup file onto the bat in my new pc, which was successful, but I have 2 days worth of emails that I need to update onto the new pc. I created an update to an existing archive and I now want to update that file to the new pc, but it won't let me and I keep getting error messages, is there any way to fix this ?
