Thanks guys.  This bug is driving me bananas.  To clarify on what I'm seeing:

When I pull the scroll bar down, the window scrolls down correctly.  When I let go of the scroll bar, it jumps back up near the top.  If I then click on it to scroll down further, it makes the window jump up to near the top as well.  This means that I can only really use the scroll bar initially, but after that, I can't.

confirmed, even i do not see this as horrible as Devin, I have added note to bugtraq

No I take that back - I see what you are talking about. If you click the scroll bar it jumps up

I can't confirm that.

When I scroll (say) half way down the list the scroll bar will jump back but the window stays to where I scrolled.

If I pull it to the bottom of the list the scroll bar NEVER goes to the bottom yet the bottom of the list is displayed.

I'm up to over 3200 contacts, and this bug persists - even in 4.2.9.1 Pro.  Won't anyone take a look at this?

This is a horrible bug.

When I open up the address book and use the scroll bar on the right side to scroll to the bottom of my address book (~1300 contacts), when I release the bar, it pops up to a point near the top.  If I'm in the "R's" for example, as soon as I click on it, I'm back in the "B's" or something similar.  The scroll bar won't stay where I leave it.
