4.0.18 did Dutch fine over here, both on Vista and XP. I installed the pro version, but that shouldn't matter.

To set the language with the %Language macro you should use %language="DU NL", that has changed, but the Dutch spell checker should be available from the menu.
Note that it's now possible to use multiple dictionaries at the same time now, eg Dutch and English.

Why I can not check the spelling in Dutch in the bat! 4.0.18 anymore?? with older versions I could but now I can not find the dictionary, I downloaded the international package but it doesn't seem to help in this matter.  
Some help please....
