this is reported in official Bugtraq, we have no information when will be this behaviour changed

I've been noticing that, too.  I'd also like to see this behavior improved to be more like a web browser, so that the view stays *approximately* where you scrolled instead of jumping back to the top.

I've noticed when trying to read the HTML version of a mail and it's still loading online images, the displayed message continually jumps back to the top as each image loads until the last one is loaded. Is there any way to fix this in a next version?
