Yes but I used to have the old massages preview when I have installed the program - and now there are only the numebers of the massages and empty inbox

That's the way of IMAP. The message base is online, so you've got to have an internet connection....

When I open the Bat without the internet connection I do not see any massages in the inbox folder. I am using IMAP as the protocol. What should I do?
