Authentication Failure Failure to download POP3 email in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Thank you for the quick replies!

It was the username. I could receive email without the domain name but could not send email. Modified to username@domain.com and can now send/receive.

Thanks!!
Paul,

You can't download mail, you say, but you provide the smtp log, that's for sending mail, though that doesn't work either.
You've erased the name of your ISP, so I can't check their faq in order to see what specifics they use.

So, as nana says, it's most likely that your username or password isn't right. Especially since both connections won't work. When you're sure about the password, you might consider the username. Some servers expect user@domain as username (especially those servers that handle multile domain names) and others only expect the user part as inlog name. you might experiment with that.

TLS is a more recent form of SSL and often it's still called SSL. The TLS connection is okay, otherwise the server side responses should be rather garbled, so don't worry about that part of the connection.
Does fetching an e-mail work for you?

The log seems as if your password is wrong indeed.
