Thank you very much. That took care of all of those issues.
You're fighting with the different editors that TB has these days. Set MicroEd (TB's original editor) as default and set TB not to use the HTML editor when replying to HTML messages and TB will run as before.

Options -> Preferences -> Viewer/Editor -> Default editor for text: Set to MicroEd
And check the option immediately below: 'Reply to HTML in plain text'

You can also use your current settings and whenever you've got problems with the used editor, switch it on the fly by clicking in the editor menu on:
Options -> Message Format -> MicroEd (or one of the others)

Playing around with these settings will give you an idea what can be done with the different editors.
I'm having several problems when replying. I recently upgraded from 1.62r to 4.0.2. In the previous version, I could click reply, copy/paste text from any location into my reply, press ALT L to format it and everything worked as expected.

With the new version, if I copy/paste anything, the fonts become mixed in the reply. And the ALT L doesn't always work. Many times I have to manually edit the message to get it to format correctly. If the message I am replying as long sentences, say 100 characters, then the sentences in my replies are 100 characters long, even though the wrap text option is set to 70 characters. On some emails the text I am replying to is marked with >>, as before. But many are enclosed within a box with a blue border on the side. That makes it very difficult to edit if I want to reply on a per line basis. I also find that if I make the mistake of moving the cursor down and there is one of those blue boxes below it, the cursor jumps over it. I don't want any of these "features." I've gone over the settings but nothing seems to apply to them. Am I missing them or is this just the way it works now?
