Lost whole folder

Lost whole folder Can it be restored? in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
OK, finally, progress. That seems to work. But it is only letting me do one folder at a time, which means I have to create it and then import. With over 200 folders, this is going to take forever. Argh! But I do appreciate the help. Thanks to you and Rick for the suggestions. I would have been lost without them.
Another option is to use the import function.
Select a folder (otherwise you can't import) and select:
Tools -> Import messages -> From The Bat! message base v2 -> browse to one of your lost folders
I tried that and it created another TBI file when it started but the folder is empty. I have a daily backup of my files (not a backup performed by TB). Should I restore this folder from it? I'll lose some messages but it would be better than loosing the hundreds that are missing now.
Close TB
Delete the .tbi file of the folder you created new
Start TB
Select the new folder
See whether it's still considered empty.
Try <control><alt><shift> L
That will rebuild the folder structure including any "lost" folders
Just as a follow up, I added a new folder with the name of the missing one and then copied all of the missing subfolders into it along with the missing TBB and TBI files. It didn't make a difference though since TB still sees it as empty. Is there a way to force it to reassign those items?
I don't know if it has been addressed but there is a major problem with moving folders in V 4.0.2. I selected a sub-folder to move it into a different folder. I held down the shift and up arrows as I always did in my previous version, but when it reached the to main folder it was located in, instead of jumping above that, the folder I was trying to move was replaced with the main folder and that was moved. By the time I realized what was happening, I had done this a few times and it completely ruined by folder structure. That was no big deal but it turns out one of the main folders that was being moved when it shouldn't have, has disappeared. I've closed the program and restarted so it would rebuild but that folder is apparently gone, even though I never clicked delete. I did a search on all folders for a known email address and nothing came up.

If I look at the folder structure on the disk, I can see the missing folder hidden in one of the sub-folders. I tried copying it to a different location and restarting TB but it isn't showing up. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this mess?
