Please try to set the POP setting in the "Gmail Settings" as "Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on" but not "Enable POP for all mail".

does the same happen if you use another app, like Outlook Express or Thunderbird? If yes, the problem is in Gmail.

Yes...every time I open and use TB. See the note from Chris Dowling in this thread. I'm not the only one experiencing this.

That's odd. It used to be that once you downloaded something from GMail that you couldn't download it again, regardless of your settings.

Has this been going on for some time?

I have TB confiugured for Gmail POP. I'm using TB Professional 4.0.24. Every time I open TB and it connects to Gmail it redownloads all of my archived mail. My guess is that I have something configured incorrectly. I don't know what, though. I'd appreciate any advice that you can give. Thanks!
