Can't be done with TB and I don't know how much of a rewrite that would be for Ritlabs.
You could make it an official wish, of course:

You can insert wishes in the wish list, by logging in to:
https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/main_page.php
Choose 'The Bat! wishes' and add a new item.
First check whether someone has made the same wish, then you can
support that wish.
Wishes that are supported by more users are more likely to be granted
than wishes by one. And the system isn't smart enough to understand
that wishes might be the same.
And add just one wish per entry. Makes everything easier, both for
other users who want to add support and for the developers.

Hi,

I'm currently using Outlook 2003, and hate it for all but one things. I like and got use to vertical panes view. To be honest it's the only thing that keeps me from migrating from it. Is there a possibility to implement such view in TheBat! ? I know there is standard vertical panes view available, but what i'm interested in is this fantastic idea:

Currently there are 2 columns, one for Subject, second for From field. I'd like it one under another like in the picture.
