Salesforce Integration

Salesforce Integration Help! in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
First of all I'd say that such a system should be managed by the company's mail server. If I wanted a copy of all incoming and outgoing messages I'd set some redirection rules on my server.

But you can do that just fine with TB. Set a filter that forwards, redirects or whatever the PTB fancy all of your incoming messages to salesforce.
To BCC all of your outgoing messages automatically, you simply add the %BCC='some address' macro to all of your templates, unless you're using a lot of folder andaddress book templates that's rather easy.

I hope this helps.

Salesforce Integration

Salesforce Integration Help! in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
The powers that be are wanting to take away The Bat because it lacks Salesforce integration. I inquired as to what that means. Basically we need the ability to have The Bat copy an incoming email (automatically and blindly) to a given email address with the option to strip the attachment. It also means that we need the ability to send email with an automatic Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) to that same email address. Basically the Salesforce system has to track all communication to/from your email address using this method.

I noticed that I could use the filtering mechanism to redirect incoming email, but that seems to be still a little removed from what I actually need. Then, there's no SMTP Auto BCC feature anywhere (in account settings or in filtering).

Help!
