Roelof Otten!
for unknow reason it is working. I haven't changed anything since this and after two weeks I just pressed button to download emails from all accounts and it started download all emails with correct subjects, receipients and so on.. Very interesting. Could be something on server cached that TheBat couldn't handle? And after restart of email daemon or something like that has cleared cache.. I don't know how email daemon works but this is my projection.
You shouldn't rename the messages.ebb, but the messages.ebi file. The extensions are the same for TB and Voyager, but when you're using OTFE the first character of the extension is replaced by the 'e' for 'encrypted'.
What happens when you rename the messages.tbn file in the the directory matching the problem folder to messages.tbn.old and start TB again?
In case your TB version is slightly older and you you don't have any messages.tbn files then you should rename the messages.tbi file to messages.tbi.old.
Roelof Otten!
Maintenance gave me error that two folders are damaged but when I started it again, no error but messages still not displayed. And yes, all newly downloaded messages are inflicted.. better said, since I cancelled dispatch progress I always download such messages with no subject, no sender and so on.... in outlook is everything working, I can't understand it.. could The Bat client change something on the server, and now messages are generated in way that Bat can't handle?
Roman,

What do you mean with'dsiplay notjing'. Is that in the message list or is that when you select a message? Does this occur in all folders of that account or only in the Inbox? Does it happen for all messages or only for the messages that were downloaded via the dispatcher?

Did you try to run tyhe maintenance center for the problem folder(s)?
Roelof Otten!

I tried to dispatch all emails and then I cancelled action with ignoring of the message that some servers can resend all downloaded messages again.

My client download all messages but do not display nothing (from, to, subject) except size. So i tried to download same email in outlook and I compared sources of messages and there was no difference except two blank lines at the end (in message source in the bat) of message. I also tried to contact administrator of the server and they do not see any problem.

btw I had turned off antivirus and firewall, also I have 4 accounts and I have problem only with this one where I cancelled dispatch progress
1. Yes thats right. I had no problem, over 10 days ago.

2. Except of the online updates of virus signatures etc. no new version of s/w or fresh installations were installed.

3. This problem exists with just one email account. Am able to download from other email accounts.
The account log doesn't tell you much, enable protocol logging and show me what the protocol log says.
You'll find the option for protocol logging at the menu:
Account -> Properties -> Click on the + sign before Transport -> Protocol logging
(For some versions the + sign is substituted by a triangle.)

Post the relevant part of the pop and smtp logs. Note that these logs will contain all data that's exchanged between server and client, including user names, passwords and contents of the message.
Delete the message data and exchange the sensitive parts with asterisks.
The first thing I'd try would be to delete the oldest not downloaded message from the server and see whether the download will do afterwards
Thanks I tried that. Does not download mails. I have a stable broadband connection.
Connection to host broken -"UIDL", "RETR 86" Unable to download in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
UIDL is a command a client sends to the server in order to get a listing of present messages. That listing results in TB knowing there are a number of new messages present and RETR 86 is the command sent to the server in order to RETRieve message 86.
After that the connection is broken, that suggests either that the message is corrupted at the server and the server breaks the connection or it means that the message is infected with a virus and your virus scanner aborts the download (this will be interpreted by TB as a broken connection) or you've got a rather unstable internet connection that breaks down regularly.

The first thing I'd try would be to delete the oldest not downloaded message from the server and see whether the download will do afterwards.
