You're using an old beta version.
The official distribution system for betas advise that you use the tbbeta mailing list to discuss (and be notified of) problems with beta versions.
Did you try whether the problem still exists with the current release?

This forum is not intended to discuss problems with betas, that would confuse the users of public releases. Betas are because of their experimental nature, so the most common method of curing a problem with a beta version is up- or downgrading.

Nevertheless, the most likely cause of your problem would be something with a firewall.

We don't know how to further proceed. Sending mails works one out of ten times.

To send a message it takes up to 10 attempts, but it does go out then.

The Bat version 4.0.28.3

Sending works without a flaw using another mailclient (thunderbird).

Any idea of what we can do to make it work, can we send you further information to assist in troubleshooting?
