You want to change the master password.
Unfortunately the master password is also the passphrase to decrypt your encrypted message base.
So in order to change the master password you'll need to decrypt the message base, create a new passphrase and encrypt your message base again.
That sounds like a lot of work, but it can be done:

Create an internal backup with TB
Uninstall TB
Delete your existing mail directory (or move it to a safe location, until you're sure that the whole procedure doesn't cause any data loss)
Install TB again
Go for encryption and puck your new master password
Restore your backup
Close TB and start it again.
Now you're done.
