IMAP Settings in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Hello All,

I have been starting to test IMAP as i'm interested in it's synchronization that is possible.

There are a couple things, one what are the best base IMAP settings to ensure I don't use up too much connection on my computer but it still check frequent enough to get my new mail as it comes in.

Is is better to disconnect from the server and re-connect every time you want to synchronize?

On another note I wanted to move a folder over from one of my pop3 accounts because I want to keep the emails from that account. However the folder suddenly disappeared! Is this normal or is there a special way to move these folders over so it keeps the message, or better yet synchronizes that folder with the server?
