Options -> Preferences -> Viewer/Editor -> 'View HTML messages' and 'View message with alternative layout'

it's probably right in front of me...but where is that HTML tab you just referred to? I clicked on one of my messages and looked at the bottom and didn't see any HTML tab.  Thanks..

Ah, I had the viewer set to "Plain text only".

It wasn't immediately clear what the difference between "HTML and plain text", "Plain text and HTML" and "Plain text only" was

I'm currently evaluating the latest version and while it looks good, there's one feature I would really like.

I always view messages as plain-text, for security. Is there a way to *quickly* switch to HTML mode for a single message e.g. so I can see inline images in an email from someone I trust?
