The most common authentication is as follows:
Account -> Properties -> Transport -> Authentication (in the smtp section) -> Perform smtp authentication & Same user/password as for Mail Retrieval

Wonderful Email client. I love its simplicity and efficiency!

Everything worked great with the settings I have before. Hoever, recently I noticed that My Bat 4.0.7 no longer Sends emails. Instead, it responds (logger) "Server reports error. The response is Authentification Required." It still receives new emails without a problem....

This makes me wonder, could it be due to a server rules change? Some additional security installed on the server side perhaps?

Im trying to identify the problem and figure out the settings with I may set within Bat to resolve this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
