Did you delete those .abd files from your desktop? (Or better, just removed them?)
Are the .abd files on your desktop identical to those in your bat folder?

What are the contents of your addrbook.ini file? It can be found in your mail directory. (Actually that's a better location for your .abd files than either your program directory or your desktop.)

I imported an address book from OE (wab) everything went fine. The addresses I imported were all there. Then I closed The BAT! When I opened it again it put all the *.abd files on my desktop. So I went into my address book properties and set the "store in file" to my "The Bat!" folder. It ask if I wanted to overwrite the files there and I said YES. Everything was fine and working. Then when I closed The BAT! and opened it up again it put all the *.ABD files back on my desktop! I've tried doing this several times and it keeps moving the *.ABD files to my desktop! Is this a bug?
