I followed your instructins, but,Sorry, it does not generate the file pop.log. My sister tried it too but with the same unsatisfying result. :cry:

Protocol logging is in menu Account | Properties, section Transport | Protocol logging where enable POP.log.

Is this what you meant? I'm not sure I fully
understand your answer, how do you enable or disable protocol logging? Or is this important at all? I really know very little....

Enable protocol logging for receiving messages and post the contents of your log. (Don't forget to erase any passwords from the log before you post it.)

I cannot download emails. When I press F2 or the blue arrow, the message 'logging on to server' appears for a second and then disappears. The message is FETCH-server reports error. The response is:-ERR unknown command. I am using the professional edition Version 4.0.34. Can anybody help? I am not very computerwise and am trying to learn.
