Brad - when you are on an HTML email there is also a Globe icon which is the URL manager. If it is an email from a company that you always want the graphics, click the URL manager and allow them. (that is a work in progress by the way)

That way you always get your ... American Express notices in full color but spams and such stay dark.
I'm not sure I'll like the , "Hold shift and double click to view in your browser".

But I'm willing to give it a go for awhile.
I wouldn't change something I'm very happy with, especially a tool important for my business.

That said, IMO theBat is far better than Outlook as a pop3 mail client. Especially in sorting/filters/templates, and overall efficiency - with theBat I can do everything much faster than with Outlook, and even completely automate handling of certain messages. It saves me tons of time.

But that's me, it may be different for you and depends on your needs. For certain things Outlook is better, like handling of html mail. I don't care about that as I always work in plain text mode, but many do care.

Install theBat and use it for some time, then decide.
Hello all,

I am currently looking for a new email client because i want to get rid of the too expensive Outlook. I have been using Outlook for many years and am very happy with it.
Some things about my mail usage:
-having 2 internet related businesses, i rely on email for 99% of all comunication
-i use no IMAP, only pop3
-i have 3 email accounts
-i want to have a nice overview of all recent and important messages
-i want to have an easy and overviewable archive of older mails that do not need attention anymore, but might be worth looking at again in the future

Can you tell me why i should go for The Bat?

Thanks for all answers!

Matt
