Losing "unread" and "total" information when importing Outlook message

Losing "unread" and "total" information when importing Outlook message This happens when moving them into the inbox in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Is no one else having this issue? The only solution I found is to import an archived folder, open the folder, highlight all of the messages, right click and choose "Move to Folder".

This seems like a huge waste of time for large databases.
Roelof and Marek, thank you. I found the parenthesis and menus for the counters right after posting the question.

Two strange things are occurring, and they are repeatable in my case.

1. Moving a folder out from the folder tree strips away the counters. Moving it back in does not get them back.

2. When importing messages from both The Bat's internal message importer and Aid4mail Outlook converter the counters remain bold for all messages.

I desire strongly to find a way to adjust imported messages to display the same as new mail.

Thank you.
BTW Tha Bat! allows to change columns in account/folder pane and if You do not like subfolder couters, You can click to columns by right mouse button and select columns You want.
The number in parenthesis is the number of messages in subfolders.
I prefer to retain as much information as possible, including the counters and unread, read status.

I'm also getting a second number in parenthesis, that I haven't quite figured out. I didn't find the answer to this in the help menu.
Can't confirm that.
When I move unread messages to the inbox, they stay unread and the counters for the inbox are updated.
What's the problem for you? Is it merely that the counters aren't updated or the messages loose their unread or read status?
The default location for imported folders and/or messages from Outlook is under and outside of the Bat inbox. They retain the "unread" and "total" count, which is what most users find to be very useful information.

However, when I move any of the folders or messages to the inbox that information is stripped away.

This prevents me from integrating all of my old e-mail with all incoming mail. I don't want to keep two separate areas for old and new.

Any ideas?

Using the latest version 4.2.6, Windows XP Pro SP2. The Outlook version is Office 2003 SP3.
