Roelof,

Worked fine.

Needed to restore a newer Voyager backup as I had been using that program for some time and wanted to revert to TB Pro, which had been crashing on startup.

Settings from Voyager's global.ini weren't transferred of course, but with a few manual adjustments to settings, I now have TB Pro operating the way I would like, and not crashing on startup.

Thanks
Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT\The Bat! from the registry
You don't necessarily have to delete the current message base, you also might specify a new mail directory, for your new config.

However, with restoring an old backup you bring back all previous settings (at the time of the backup.)
So when you want to restore a backup, you might forget about deleting the registry settings and the message base as your restore actiuon will overwrite the old ones anyhow.
Is it possible to re-initialise The Bat by:
1) Deleting TB entries from the registry,
2) Deleting the mail folders,
3) Restarting TB and restoring mail from a previous TB backup.

Or do I need to do a re-install then restore?
