Are there sound file in your thebat directory?

Or is 'play sound' enabled for of your filters or folders?

Do you mean there, where it was installed?

I can not see there any sound folder.

The thing is that it is unchecked and it plays a short sound like "Bling" (more or less). I do not know how to stop it,

Do you have a "Sounds" folder in your "The Bat" system directory? If you do, sounds are played from there regardless of internal switch settings.

If you change the sound and check the tickbox, does it play the sound you specify? what does it play when the box it unchecked?

How can I block sounds that they are not played at all when new messages arrived. "Play sound when new mail arrives" is not checked in the account properties. But it still is playing a sound.

Please help!
