Yes, those can work with some regexp, but in order to look into that, I need an example or two, best to send those via private mail (and mime attached) and not on the forum as the formatting is important.

my original emails come from a webform, the parts that I want to omit start with a label ("name: ", "address: "...)

Do you think it can work with a regular expression ? how ?

It is possible.
However, the parts you want to omitt have to be the same (or at least very similar) in every message.
In that case you can use regular expressions to skip parts of the original message. That would be a way to automate it.

Another way to do a partial quote, is to select a part of the message and press F4.

I'm just wondering if it is possible to create a "partial quotation" reply template = to trim some parts of the quoted message (2nd paragraph for example...)

That would be really cool for answering a emailform I get daily !!

Any idea ?
