Attachments Issue

Attachments Issue My sent attachments are received as text? in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
there is an error in headers of messages Tiffany sent me - there is and additional empty row between Subject: field and MIME-Version: field, this is why every mailer will display such message incorrectly : empty row divides headers from text, so when mailer detects empty row (with CRLF chars), it it displays them as text.

I do not know why is such empty row inserted, if You can see this message correctly in your SENT folder, it must be caused by some SMTP server between you and recipient.
seems like message headers are somehow corrupted, export such message to EML file (Tools menu) and send it to support@thebat.cz, I will check it.
I have Norton Internet Security, I just turned off the out-going e-mail scanning. Now to test it out. Thanks ;-)
Are you using AVG or another antivirus? If these modify the e-mail message body on download it could corrupt the mime enclosure causing the problem.
I kind of thought I might be the only one with this problem. Then I my next assumption is its not the e-mail client but our isp, firewall or something else interfering, as everyone in my office has had this happen at some point.

Any suggestions are always appreciated, thanks.
Almost all of the .pdf, .doc and .dwg attachments I send to consultants are received as pages of strange text characters. For example:

"------------F997CE6E36ACE
Content-Type: APPLICATION/PDF; name="2009-06-30 Column Cover Section.pdf"
Content-transfer-encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="2009-06-30 Column Cover Section.pdf"

JVBERi0xLjINCiXi48/TDQogDQozIDAgb2JqDQo8PA0KL0NyZWF0b3IgPDQ0NjE3NDYxNDM0
MTQ0MjA1MDQ0NDYyMDQ3NjU2RTY1NzI2MTc0NkY3MjIwNTYzMTJFMzMzMT4NCi9Qcm9kdWNl
ciA8NDQ2MTc0NjE0MzQxNDQyMDU2NjU3MjczNjk2RjZFMjAzMTMyMkUzMDM4MkUzMDMzMkUz
MDM3Pg0KL0NyZWF0aW9uRGF0ZSAoRDoyMDA5MDYzMDExNDQ1NikNCj4+DQplbmRvYmoNCjQg

(this goes on for several page lengths)

SW5mbyAzIDAgUg0KL1Jvb3QgMTEgMCBSDQo+Pg0Kc3RhcnR4cmVmDQoxODUxNg0KJSVFT0YN
Cg==

------------F997CE6E36ACE--"

When I change nothing and resend a few times, the consultants eventually get the attachments.

Can any give me any advise to what I'm doing wrong?

my version is 2.12.00 Business Edition
my attachment settings are
Encoding: MIME Base64
Keep Attachments in Message bodies
Directory: on our office network
And Bind Attachments only while sending out mail is checked
No message splitting.
