Thank you for the advice, looks like I will have to copy those messages.

Also thanks for the Gmail tip, I didn't know it can directly access remote POP3.
Virtual folders won't help you in this. Virtual folders don't acyually contain messages, but they only display messages as stored in other folders. Deleting a message from its original will automatically make it disappear from the virtual older.
The best way to describe a virtual folder is that it's like a continuously updated search window.

The only way to get duplicates of messages in your gmail accpount is to move or copy them there. However that won't sync the imap folder, that will only add messages that keep on existing when you delete them from the original folder.

As an alternative, you can have all of your mail in your gmail account and you don't need to use TB for that. You can have gmail doing that. At the gmail web site go for:
settings -> accounts and import -> check mail using pop3

Virtual Folders and IMAP

Virtual Folders and IMAP in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Hello,

I just purchased The Bat Home and I was wondering if it is possible to use virtual folders with IMAP?

I have about 10 different e-mail accounts with ~50.000 e-mails across them and I would like to have some of them duplicated to Gmail's IMAP.

So my idea was to create Gmail IMAP account within The Bat, then create virtual folder under this IMAP account and duplicate selected folders from other accounts in this virtual folder. This works perfectly, however I can not set IMAP synchronization for the virtual folder.

Is there any way to enable IMAP sync for a virtual folder? Or some different way to have multiple folders from other accounts duplicated in IMAP account?

Thanks for any replies.
