I use it only for switching smtp's , and it should be set as follows - in Xray create a new smtp server entry. Copy all the settings for smtp from theBat to Xray.
Then in theBat set smtp server to 127.0.0.1 , port to what's set for Incoming port in Xray (typically 25), I think other setting don't matter.

Then make sure Xray isn't blocked by your firewall, you may turn it off for a while.
I've tried both 1.4 and the beta. XPx32 & W7x64. 'xray' service is running. I've added pop/smtp settings in the servers tab. Localhost & Localport correctly configured in TB!, tried other clients. Client software cannot find the Localservers. I do not understand the Proxies tab and have only tried creating filters that do not make any changes or no filters at all. Not that I've got that far because it can't find the Localserver. Anti-virus/Firewall isn't blocking it. I think I've broken it.. Because there is one thing that I can tell you and that's despite having server settings in the Servers tab and they are enabled, they do not show under SMTP/POP servers on the right click menu of the taskbar icon. Schema is default. No SMTP autoselect, as the servers are not listed in the Server selection drop down box here either. I can see connection attempts in the Statistics tabs, but only connection attempts. Have I missed something really simple? Thank you for your reply.
I use it on one computer and it works fine, however I'm using the beta available on the site, not the official release which as I remember has some bug.
What problem do you have?
Just wondering if X-Ray still works? I've tried several versions across several operating systems.. Does anyone know of a similar solution? Thanks

xrayapp.com/xray
