Yes, The Bat! 4.2.10 support reading and writing Japanese messages. But you cannot switch menu items to Japanes, there is no interface translation to Japanese available yet.

Hallo forum,

i was reading the threads about japanese language support
and wondering if The Bat supports writing and reading japanese characters now. Is there somebody out there who uses the newest version? I would like to answer my correspondence from The Bat and collect it to it for reading, so it would be nice if it supports the Japanese language the way web japanese web clients do...
