How to get TheBat.net E-mail Account

How to get TheBat.net E-mail Account How to obtain a Trial Key + Procedure to Set up new TheBat.net E-mail in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Well it says that thebat.net is only for users of TheBat! v4 so you would have to be a paying customer to use it cause if anyone could get some might abuse it I guess & if you have a gmail email it is just the same but without the labs feature.

I just downloaded the program(no need to get a trial key) & installed it on my laptop & it installed fine & cause it is a trial there is no Serial Number it just says UNREGISTERED EVALUATION COPY.

As for program issues have you tried reinstalling it & selecting repair.

How to get TheBat.net E-mail Account How to obtain a Trial Key + Procedure to Set up new TheBat.net E-mail in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I am given to understand that TheBat.net Home Edition is installable for a 30-day cost-free Trial.

I have a proposed TheBat.net E-mail to use; in addition I understand that TheBat is also an E-mail Client, like Thunderbird or Outlook.

I attempt to follow the Instructions:

How to get your thebat.net email account?

To create your thebat.net email account and use it with your The Bat! email program, please follow the following steps:

1. Apply for the new account at thebat.net Apply
2. Activate POP3 and SMTP protocols for your account Guide
3. Download and install the latest version of The Bat! Download
4. Set up The Bat! for your thebat.net account Guide
TheBat.net FAQ

In order to activate my TheBat.net proposed E-mail address, never mind configuring the Client for now, The Bat! v3/v4 Serial Number is required; to achieve that requirement one must use his new Password plus obtain the Serial Number which can only be obtained from the Purchase Receipt or [incomprehensibly] from the Help/About window which failed to open upon keying Alt+F1 (which does nothing), or by locating it from the Purchase Receipt which makes no sense for a Free Trial, nor did I receive a Confirmation E-mail; moreover installing TheBat Home Edition produces only a mass of language files and no programme to use them with nor to obtain the required Serial Number.

Never have I seen such half-baked instructions, because they simply go nowhere; ordinarily, Trials are as simple as receiving an E-mail, using its link to download the requisite programme, and then either 'Continue with Trial, Day 1 of X days' or the Trial programme would automatically insert a provisional Serial Number, valid during the Trial period and needing a payment beyond the Trial. To obtain TheBat.net E-mail address ought to be as simple as receiving an approval or provisional approval, from the Program owner, like any other E-mail account -- at least valid during the Trial period.

Please enlighten me as to the procedure for ratifying my proposed TheBat.net E-mail Account and downloading the [provisional, Trial period] Software.

If this is a volunteer mediated Forum, then expressions of gratitude to them who aid me out of the quagmire of what surely was intended to be a 1-2-3 Process requiring no great genius to complete.

BAB
Oregon, USA
