The link you provided is from bugtrack and states that the bug is fixed in TB 3.0.2.11 and that's a non released beta, so the only thing you can do is wait for the next release.

hi

im using the bat 3.0.1.33 and i cant figure out how to authenticate on AOLs SMTP. while doing some googling i found this:

the problem is my bat wont try "login" but quits after failing to log on with "plain". what can i do about that?
