Thanks for the both's advice!

I followed Roelof's given steps and it was successful!
thanks again!!

Btw. i use BestCrypt Volume Encryption with pre-boot authentication, with it i have encrypted the whole laptop including system partition. (I know TrueCrypt would do the work too.)
bigg one: this is not camparable, TB's OTFE system encrypt data and those are never available decrypted. When You use Encryption app like Truecrypt and create decrypted drive, data are available unencrypted.
another way is to install TrueCrypt(freeware, there is installer -less version too), create an encrypted container and move your mail folder inside.
Using TrueCrypt is better than theBat's OTFE, as the latter isn't really the best encryption solution out there (not in terms of security but speed and reliability)
The only way to convert to OTFE is:
1: create a backup (via TB's menu)
2: uninstall TB
3: check that there are no remnants of TB's config in the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT) that happens when you're uninstalling TB via another Windows account than you're using it from
4: Move TB's mail directory (or use a different mail directory after you install it again)
5: Install TB
6: Run TB and tell it to use encryption, enter the mail directory and restore the backup

You can skip step 2 and 5, but then you'll have delete all of TB's registry stuff manually (that's the registry tree at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT)

There are no other procedures to convert to OTFE.
Hi!
I forgot to choose "on-the-fly" encryption as i installed the Bat! Pro to my new computer.

Is there any way to choose to encrypt (password protect) the Bat! Pro mail database and access to The Bat! afterwards, now as the program is already installed. What's the easies way to do it? (It's now trial version so far, i haven't yet entered my reg. code.)

Could somebody please advice me with this? Thanks.
