There is absolutely no acceptable e-mail client for PDA, at list for WM. Standard Pocket Outlook is simple, but cant hold mail history and in case of any error there is no way to find out what's going on. My HTC Diamond is about 3 times faster then PC with TheBat I used about 10 years ago.  Is where any chance to get TheBat for PDA? I can’t imagine what RITLabs members use Pocket Outlook.
