@ Michel Renaud - Thanks for this. I was having the same problem and your solution worked for me too, although to make it clear,in Manage IMAP folders, i had to set Download Mode -> Use own settings. and then Download -> Unread messages -> Entire messages and Download -> Read messages -> Entire messages.

I set both unread and read msgs because i sync my IMAP from various locations.

Thanks for your help!
@ Michel Renaud - thanks a lot - your solution is working - It's much better than clicking separately each one message.

@THEBAT team - but it should work also for global settings. Option: "use parent's settings" doesn't work .

I was thinking that 5.0.8 is a final version not beta.
I've got the download mode for both unread and read messages as "entire messages" and I just sent myself a 28 MB message, as soon as I saw it I had the complete message available
I had this problem on first use (at least it sounds like the same problem.) What I did is that for each folder, I set Download Mode->Read Messages to "Entire messages." It took a little while (lots of e-mails...), but eventually it downloaded them all.

====quote====
Maxim Masiutin wrote:
As I wrote previously, The Bat! version 5 will have completely new IMAP, so this issue will be resolved.
=============

I don't think so.

I've made upgrade from version 4 to 5 and the problem is - the bat 5 don't get entire messages with IMAP. I have to click messages one by one to have it on my hard disk with possibility to read them when I will be off line.

I think I have right settings set up - I've set the synchronization options for that account to 'download entire messages' in the imap folder manager.TB is getting only messages headers and updating counters - in ver 4.xx I had option to get entire messages on.

So what's a problem?

I can't turn back to the version 4.xx - maybe fully manually.

Clean install doesn't resolve problem.

Synchronize IMAP folders IMAP Discrepancies folder list and number of messages in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I am having a problem with an IMAP account. When I go to Manage IMAP folders and Reset the list of folders is different from both that on the client, and on my webmail view of my IMAP account. I have folders that do not appear in the Manage IMAP Folders list but are shown in the folder tree, but in the Manage IMAP Folders many folders are duplicated, often appearing a second time in upper case. Additionally some folders are empty in the client but the corresponding folder in the webmail view shows messages. For instance on my webmail view I have a folder called Trash with 1263 messages, in The Bat folder tree I have two folders Trash and Trash.1 both with no messages (although they did have some until a couple of days ago), and in Manage IMAP Folders two folders both called Trash one synchronised with full messages, and one not synchronised at all.

Is there any way I can properly synchronise my folders so that The Bat view and the webmail view are identical? I realise this may be an issue with the IMAP server and that they are not all the same - this is from <noindex>www.1and1.co.uk</noindex>
