theBat uses Windows associations.
The only reason that comes to mind is that in one of the user profiles powerpoint doesn't correctly handle files opened from temp folder.
You may check if so by extracting the attachment to temp folder (type %temp% in the Start -> Run box to open it) and then dbl click the file.
In any case it's a Windows issue.

Accuracy: two users on the same PC (two different sessions). For one user, the pps files are opened correctly from The Bat! but not for the other. But outside of The Bat ", a double click on a pps file opens a slideshow, it's okay.
It is there an element in the profile of The Bat! for this user which causes this problem?

I can't reproduce that behaviour, TB should open any file according to your general Windows associations.
The only thing you might do, is to set the default action for pps files in Windows to edit reboot and then back to open.

Hello,

When a *.pps file attachment is opened from The Bat! is PowerPoint that opens (like open a *.ppt). If I open a *.pps file outside of The Bat! is a slideshow that opens correctly.

What can I do?
