The latest publiuc release is rather stable.

And according to me (I don't work for ritlabs) it's worth its price. I really like the subfilters and the way you filter on all header fields without using messy regexp constructs.
However when you don't use extensive filtering or IMAP you might not appreciate v3 fully.
Note that even though the coversion to the new filtering system is pretty good, you need to check your new filters.

I stopped using thebat a little while ago , and now that i wanted to start using it again, but i remember hearing in lots of places that v3 was buggy and that to stay wit v2 because it was more stable.
Is it really worth it to upgrade?
any insights will be greatly appreciated.
